Substanz in institue de la mode francaise
Substanz was invited by the young bio-vegan materials-focused brand Confiture to develop a series of accessories for their upcoming launch and the IFM x AMI competition.
Our role was to interpret and execute a set of accessories based on AI-generated renderings provided by the brand. The objective was to translate the designs into physical products using bio-leather alternatives, closely preserving the soft, fluid aesthetics of the original concepts.
Throughout the project, we also advised the brand on material selection for each design within the AI-generated lookbook, as well as on adapting the concepts to the real-life properties and limitations of the chosen materials—conducting a full applicability and feasibility analysis.
The resulting accessories are intended to form part of the brand’s upcoming capsule drop and were presented to the public for the first time at the Institut Français de la Mode in March 2026.
