Substanz for confiture

Substanz had the opportunity to take part in a really exciting project—creating a small series of keychains and charms for a brand dedicated to next-generation leather alternatives.

“Confiture,” set to launch in the coming months, is a bag and accessories label focused entirely on plant-based leather. Keep an eye on them—I love their soft, fluid design language.

This set was developed based on the brand’s renderings and was showcased at IFM in March alongside other bags and accessories.

What made this project especially rewarding was the chance to work with a variety of innovative materials and explore ways to bring the brand’s soft, fluid aesthetic to life—something that can be challenging with non-stretch alternatives.

The pieces feature materials such as Nutico, Banofi and Oleatex.

Hardware is minimal, crafted in high-polish stainless steel.
