substanz for artavazd paris FW26 collection

As part of our ongoing collaboration with Artavazd Paris, we were commissioned to develop a custom “tweed” textile print for their FW26 collection.

This textile development project was created by Substanz’s in-house illustrators’ team.

The concept reinterprets the visual richness of traditional heavy tweed by translating it into a printed trompe-l’œil effect applied onto lightweight natural fabrics. This contrast between visual density and physical lightness allows the fabric to retain fluidity, comfort, and movement while evoking the structured appearance of classic tailoring.

The result is a refined interplay between illusion and function, where textile becomes both surface and storytelling element.

The design was developed specifically for the FW26 collection and was presented during Paris Fashion Week as part of the brand’s seasonal showcase.
